For this project I used one of my favorite pictures of my grandpa and one of my sculptures from the themed paper project. In photoshop I edited a picture of my paper sculpture (below) to have high contrast and high saturation then placed it over the scan of the old picture of my grandpa. I also edited the old photo to be high contrast and I added a gradient overlay to unify the colors in the sculpture with the rest of the image. I chose to have the contrast of the warm and cool colors in the gradient and to place the gradient in such a way that it separates my grandpa from this strange exploding creature that he is either trying to put out or feed.
