Step 2
- Search this blog to find a visual example for one of the following elements and principles (see list below). Can be the work of a professional artist or an image of student work.
- Organic Line/Shape
- Rectilinear Line/Shape
- Focal Point
- Color Scheme or Value Range
- Scale (show a difference in size)
- Symmetry
- Asymmetry
- Repetition
- Actual Texture
- Simulated Texture
- Horizontal Line
- Vertical Line
- Diagonal Line
Step 3
- Post image of the artwork on your blog.
- State the element/principle you selected.
- State the artist's name.
- Include source link to the blog page where you found the artist/artwork.
Step 4
- Post a personal photograph that also demonstrates the element/principle you selected in Step 3.
- You may search photos you have already taken or take a new photograph.
- State the element/principle.
- Include the words "personal photo".
Step 5
- Repeat Steps 2, 3 and 5. Therefore your personal blog post will have four images
