Statement:
I crocheted a soft, pink covering for the sphere to symbolize stereotypes portrayed in the movie. In the back portion of the sphere, I stitched the yarn together to show the non-perfect quality of the characters. I created a "pocket" for each object to parallel the idea of appearances in the movie. The choice of the plaid table cloth was to incorporate the main characters iconic yellow plaid outfit. All the objects speak to vanity and wealth.
