This piece deals with gun violence in the United States. Three shapes that resemble the map of the United States are connected with a strand of paper and pins. Each shape is covered with the faces of gun violence victims. The three categories are: police brutality against African Americans, suicide victims and school shootings. The common link between all of these awful, recent and unfortunately common tragedies is a gun.
Materials: plastic bags, foam board, glue, nails, paper, black and white media.
Installed on the wall.
