In the Project Falsafa a research is made into the construction and foundation of Arabic patterns. Departure point is the Islamic philosophy of Falsafa, which states that one can achieve ultimate intellect and beauty through geometry and the mathematical construction of patterns.
During the exhibition of Back Stage on Stage at Salone del Mobile Milan 2014 the analysis and investigation continued in the essence of patterns, geometry and symmetry. In a production line of a growing series of imprints the visitor gained insight into the construction of seemingly complex patterns.
