Vocabulary for Summer 2011

Handwrite all terms and definitions in your moleskin. Feel free to add additional terminology you feel is significant to your work/ideas about making art.

Refer to the ART 21 Glossary for the first set of terms. Here is the link. Perhaps, while you are on the ART 21 website you will take a look around? Do a little browsing...inform yourself about art making...learn more about an artist that interests you.

Additional terms are listed below. I recommend ART LEX for the first three terms. It is an on-line dictionary and the definitions are presented in terms of art and design. When on the home page, click on a tab from the left column to find the word you are searching. The site appears to have been redesigned since I last used it and I don't find it as user friendly. However, I think it is good resource and one you should know about. If you think the site is friendly, share your experience with me. Link here.

All Vocab due by the end of next week, Friday, May 13. I will check it off in class - no need to release your moleskin to me.
